About Me
I earned a Bachelor of Arts at Tulane University and a Master of Architecture at the University of Houston. After graduation, I worked at several architecture firms in Houston, Texas, focusing on the design and construction of large public assembly projects such as churches and music halls.
In 2005, I transitioned from working in the field of architecture to education. In my 15 years of teaching, I designed, developed, and implemented courses covering a wide range of topics in architecture and general education.
Designing courses and creating digital content require research, creativity, strong communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize information. These same skills are required in architecture and education. With this knowledge and experience, I am able to take a project from inception to closing, seeing both the big picture and the smallest details throughout the process. Also, I am well versed in the principles of design, wrapping the deliverables in a beautifully designed package.
